WOUNDED SOLDIERS CHARITY CELEBRATE HEROES OF TELEMARK EXPEDITION WITH INVITE TO ROYAL GARDEN PARTY
Pilgrim Bandits, based in New Milton, were invited to the Not Forgotten Association’s garden party at Buckingham Palace recently. In celebration of Pilgrim Bandits’ successful Heroes of Telemark Expedition which commemorated 70 years since the original WW2 sortie, earlier this year. The whole team attended after being asked to meet HRH The Princess Royal.
www.pilgrimbandits.org organises challenges for injured service men and women whilst supporting their families, runs a series of hard-core adventures for these highly trained serving soldiers and veterans.

Pilgrim Bandits has a host of upcoming challenges including; retracing the Cockleshell Heroes mission in 2014, another attempt at the World Tandem Skydiving Record and more modestly, a visit to Royal Hospital Chelsea next week to share experience with the Chelsea Pensioners.
Pilgrim Bandits now represents over 20 wounded service personnel pushing them ‘always a little further’ and sharing their experiences with under privileged young people and children country wide.
