Smart Oven with Tablet-Type Screen – brilliant!

Amica to introduce @micaSmart – at the heart of the kitchen

The UK’s protected brand, Amica, is bringing the easiest to use technology to cooking with the introduction of a brand new 7” fully-interactive touch-control TFT programmer on the t                         op models from its Platinum oven collection.

In a leap forward from the brand’s innovative i-Cook Timer, launched with its 2011 Platinum collection, @micaSmart is a 7” interactive touch control colour screen and programmer.   The @micaSmart graphic interface provides fluid finger movement control which mirrors the icons of smart phones and tablets and also includes speakers with a wave sound system.

With Web connectivity and a desktop application, ovens that feature @micaSmart are supplied with a mini memory stick to upload personal recipes and even pictures.  @micaSmart comes with a multimedia cookbook comprising over 50 recipes, each explaining the method of preparation as well as pre-programmed functions to help make every dish a success!

Periodic software updates supply the ovens with the latest technological advancements and new recipes are available to choose and download. Users also have the ability to create and view photo albums as a digital picture show with the programmer becoming a photo frame when not in use. The online portal offers a users’ forum and the opportunity to take part in culinary competitions.
